1. About These Terms
These terms govern access to the Beach Brother website, application process, classes, mentorship services, online community, resources, and related services.
2. Program Eligibility and Registration
The program is intended primarily for students aged 13–17. A parent or legal guardian must register and authorize a minor’s participation, provide accurate information, and complete required agreements.
3. Membership and Payment
Current prices, taxes, billing frequency, and included services are disclosed before purchase. Payments are processed through approved providers. Fees may change for future renewals with advance notice.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation and refund rights are described at registration and remain subject to applicable Ontario consumer-protection law. Beach Brother may provide reasonable credits or substitutions when it cancels a scheduled service.
5. Classes and Participation
Students are responsible for attending, participating respectfully, completing their own work, and using approved communication channels. The program does not guarantee immediate mentor responses at every hour.
6. Code of Conduct
Bullying, harassment, discrimination, threats, sexual content, doxxing, impersonation, scams, malware, unauthorized access, academic cheating, disruption, and misuse of member content or resources are prohibited.
7. Student Safety
Beach Brother is not an emergency, crisis-response, healthcare, or counselling service. Urgent concerns must be directed to emergency services or another qualified service.
8. Academic and Professional Disclaimer
Beach Brother provides general mentorship and development support. It is not a school, credit-granting institution, therapy service, regulated professional adviser, admissions authority, or employment-placement service.
9. No Guarantee of Results
Beach Brother does not guarantee grades, admissions, scholarships, awards, employment, behavioural change, or any particular outcome. Results depend in part on attendance, effort, participation, and follow-through.
10. Accounts, Privacy, and Third Parties
Members must protect credentials and respect other members’ information. Service providers such as website, email, meeting, community, payment, and cloud-storage platforms operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
11. Intellectual Property
Beach Brother owns or licenses its lessons, presentations, worksheets, templates, systems, branding, curriculum, and original materials. Membership provides a personal, non-transferable licence for the student’s own educational use.
12. Student-Submitted Content
Students retain ownership of original work. Beach Brother receives limited permission to access and use submissions only as reasonably needed to deliver the program, provide feedback, maintain records, and address safety or conduct issues.
13. Service Availability and Changes
Services may be affected by illness, outages, emergencies, third-party interruptions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Reasonable changes may be made to schedules, lessons, mentors, platforms, and administrative procedures.
14. Website Use
Visitors may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit false applications, introduce malware, misuse forms, impersonate others, or violate another person’s rights.
15. Liability and Consumer Rights
To the extent permitted by law, indirect and consequential losses are excluded and liability may be limited. Nothing in these terms overrides a legal warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
16. Complaints and Governing Law
Questions and complaints may be sent to dean@beachbrother.ca. These terms are governed by Ontario law and applicable federal law of Canada.
17. Updates and Contact
Beach Brother may update these terms when reasonably necessary. Questions may be directed to Beach Brother, operated by Dean Beardsworth, Toronto, Ontario, at dean@beachbrother.ca.
